Benny and Terri's Soy & Sour Cream Swiss Steak...page 105 in Buffet Benny's Cookbook Slow cooker
Ingredients:
- 1-(3lb) sirloin steak
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/4 cup table mustard
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 potatoes (quartered)
- 3 carrots (sliced)
- 2 large onions (sliced)
- 1 cup water
- salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Use large deep frying pan with lid on top of stove
Dust steak with flour and brown on both sides in cooking oil
Smear both sides of steak with table mustard
Add brown sugar,soy sauce, sour cream and water
Add potatoes, onions, carrots, then salt & pepper to taste
Cook on medium high for 5 minutes then cook on low or simmer for 35 minutes.

quick and easy
Ingredients:
- 4 Large portebella mushroom caps
- Garlic infused olive oil
- 4 fillet steaks
- Crab meat (canned or fresh)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup table mustard
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Mrs. Dash seasoning
- Chives fresh or dried
Directions:
Sprinkle lots of Mrs. Dash seasoning on steaks place in Ziploc bag and let marinate for at least 3 hours
Grill to taste
wipe down/clean mushroom caps with the garlic infused olive oil

While steaks are cooking make your sauce combining the soy, mustard, sour cream, and brown sugar, in a sauce pan until ingredients come together.
Med-to-low heat.
Plate with the mushroom cap as your base top with steak and crab
Drizzle the sauce over entire dish
Sprinkle with chives and Serve
